What a busy busy day but it went so well.  Christmas is always filled with laughter, fun and cooking at my house and it also doubles as my birthday.  Everything was wonderful and we stayed in our jammies all day and just enjoyed it.

What a brave Mom I am to have bought Isreal an electric guitar WITH an amp.  She was so happy that she cried.. yes a 16yo crying on Christmas morning.. truly priceless

Isaac was in Christmas Heaven all day, running from here to there and playing with everything in his sight.  He actually didnt stand still at all to get a good picture but I managed to snap an aftermath shot of his room. I have a feeling many children across the world had a room looking like this today …lol

 

Since Christmas is my birthday and Hubby and I have an agreement that neither one of us works on our birthday..hubby was in charge of dinner and what a job he did.  He prepared Turkey, Ham, Mac & Cheese, Fresh Collards, Yams and Rolls  What a spread!!

Lance pulled out all the stops and ordered a lovely Red Velvet birthday cake for me. It was delicious

And last but not least the one picture I think that all moms enjoy seeing is a shot of your kid coming down from a sugar high and CRASHING.  Isaac swore he was just going to lay on my bed for 2 minutes.. within 1minute he was snoring away.

Today starts the 1st day of Kwanzaa so the celebrations start all over again and don’t end until Jan 1:jig. 

Also, Thursday is Isaac’s 8th Birthday so we will have a small family gathering at the house then a party with 12 of his friends on Saturday.
