Have You Pampered Yourself Lately?
All moms need special pampering, but don’t forget to include your daughters in on the pampering from time to time. This is a vital part of parenting because you will teach your daughter that pampering herself is a very important part of life.
If you have a younger daughter, you can pamper her by inviting her with you to the nail salon or perhaps by doing each others nails. This is a great idea for a fun mother-daughter night. Take turns giving each other facials and manicures, rubbing lotion on your feet or combing each others hair. If you have an older daughter, you can save and plan for a special mother-daughter pampering day at the spa.

Well seems how I have a son I can’t really include him in on the pampering thing but I still wanted to comment. I stopped getting my acrylic nails done because finances have been so tight. I gave up getting my hair done because of the same reason. I kind of thought that if I couldn’t afford to have a ‘professional’ do my pampering for me that I couldn’t do it all. But last Saturday I decided I could still pamper myself so I gave myself a pedicure and manicure. It wasn’t as relaxing if I were having someone do my nails but it was still nice and I had that ‘girly girl’ feeling again that I’ve been missing for so long.

My daughter is only 3 mo and I already pamper her. She gets massages with lavender baby lotion after each bath.
Now if I could just pamper myself like I should! LOL
